This Week on Stadia – Far Cry 6 Gets Stream Connect!

STORY : More content and games land on Stadia. Far Cry 6 Gets Stream Connect on the platform

Another Stadia weekly blog reffered to as  ‘TWoS’ has landed.   The October 6th post includes a host of new content that arrived this week. This includes new content to existing titles, such as: Assasin’s Creed Valhalla, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Ghost Recon Wildlands and Elder Scrolls Online. There were also more details/reminders on new & forthcoming games to the platform. This includes: The Falconeer Warrior Edition, Assasin’s Creed Rogue and last but certainly not least, Far Cry 6.

It was also revealed that Far Cry 6 will include a Stadia exclusive feature:

Players can work together in co-op mode throughout the entire Far Cry 6 campaign, using Stream Connect to keep a real-time view of their partner’s location and actions.

Stream connect is a feature that allows you to see a companion’s viewpoint in a picture – in picture window on your screen.  It has been heavily applauded for it’s implementation in another Ubisoft title, Division 2.

Many Stadia gamers were pleased to hear this inclusion in yet another AAA title. This inclusion also continues the promise Stadia made earlier in the year to help promote more use of Stadia features in third party titles.

Hopefully this will be available at launch. You can see the entire blog post here.
