Google Stadia can now check off another item from the to do list. The  cloud gaming service is now available natively on LG WebOS Tvs, 5.0 or higher. This news became available late Tuesday night via LG. Google and LG both announced this partnership back in January 2021.

These include popular/acclaimed titles such as: Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil Village, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Hitman 3. It also contains first to the platform titles such as:  Baldur’s Gate 3 (early access) , Young Souls and Wavetale. The library also includes big ticket franchises, such as Madden 22 and Fifa 22. In addition, Stadia’s flagship subscription service, Stadia Pro, grants users access to 40 games at the time of this writing, along with 4K capabilities and 5.1 surround sound.

The combination of LG’s critically acclaimed OLED Tvs along with Stadia’s regarded technology, is likely behind the enthusiasm of this announcement. Per early responses, many seemed impressed by the move. Stadia themselves have also mentioned UI enhancements per this update:

In order to play Stadia on the LG TV, you will need to download the app from their WebOS store and connect any Stadia supported controller. Yes, you may already own one!
