Details of the Week 3 Challenge

The week 3 challenge starts … Now!!  The winner takes $50 via (via PayPal), and second place get $25. Participating also helps you qualify for the finals (with a $400 first place prize).

How do you participate?

  • Complete the map “9. Hard Craft (March 8th)” in the campaign of Merek’s Market by 6PM Pacific time on Sunday February 20th. Note, that the in game leaderboard is permanent and we’ve made sure that no current participant is already in the top 100. But, we will take a snapshot of scores at this time.
    • Acquire the game Merek’s Market on Google Stadia. If you are a Pro subscriber, the game can currently be claimed for free. Note, you absolutely must complete the challenge on Google Stadia.
    • PLEASE NOTE: The game registers your latest score achieved. So if you had a high score and want to try again, please take a Stadia Capture (so it shows up on your profile) and send it to us the URL via twitter or our discord (https://discord.gg/X3EkhuRR) so your score can be set in stone.
    • You need to play through the first 8 levels of the story (approximately ~1 hour or less). This unlocks the 9th level which is called “9. Hard Craft (March 8th)”.
  • To find the in-game leaderboard, go to the 9th level and press down instead of selecting the level, you will be directed to the leaderboard afterwards. See the following screenshots:
  • You can continue to improve your score up until the deadline of 6PM Pacific time on Sunday February 20th. Registered users will be ranked and the highest score of users registered for the event on the in game leaderboard will win the weekly prize, and 2nd place will receive $25. However, simply participating and completing the challenge will help your chances of getting into the tournament finals.
  • Optional: Stream your attempts to your YouTube channel (at a URL provided during registration) to allow the organizers and partner creators to later commentate on your video. If you do this, you’ll be entered into a $25 raffle each week you stream.
